The global challenges such as the growing population, quality health care, food, shelter and energy become pressing issues to scientists from various disciplines including social scientists, engineers and economists. To have an impact on this dynamic global environment, there is a dire need for young scientists to innovate solutions focused on these challenges. Apart from being an exceptional scientist, an individual needs to possess sound leadership and management skills. These needs have led to the inception of a unique initiative, “Young Investigator Meeting (YIM) Boston” with the underlying aim to empower young scientists to progress into scientific, academic, industrial and entrepreneurial leaders. YIM Boston provides a strategic platform for young scientists to bridge the gap between science and leadership.
YIM Boston is proud to be a catalyst of such an effort. We would like to invite YOU to join hands in this initiative and engage in intriguing discussions with young scientists from distinct backgrounds.
